Mine Countermeasures Unmanned Surface Vehicle (MCM USV) Minehunting (MH) Payload Delivery System (PDS)   2

Background
The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit, on a sole source basis, Raytheon Company for the production of Minehunting Payload Delivery Systems (MH PDS) and tow cable assembly units; associated engineering support, to include continued development of engineering change proposals (ECPs) and test and software support activities; and procurement of spares and other provisioned items. The MH PDS provides mine hunting capability of underwater threats by securely stowing, deploying and retrieving the AN/AQS-20C Towed Body from a host platform such as the Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV). The estimated period of performance of this contract action is FY2024 through FY2025. NAVSEA plans to procure up to five (5) MH PDS and up to ten (10) Towed Cable Assemblies in a single base year (FY2024) with engineering support, spares and other provisioned items procured during a base year (FY2024) and one option year (FY2025).

Work Details
The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302. The MH PDS provides mine hunting capability of underwater threats by securely stowing, deploying and retrieving the AN/AQS-20C Towed Body from a host platform such as the Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV).

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance of this contract action is FY2024 through FY2025.
