Description

    1. Description of Services/Introduction: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform maintenance and repair services to maintain clean, safe, livable conditions for Military Family Housing (MFH), as defined in the PWS. The Contractor shall perform in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of the contract and consistently with the established standards in the PWS and contract.

  • Environmental Protection
Background
The US Army Garrison (USAG) at Joint Base Myer Henderson-Hall, VA, is seeking to identify contractors capable of providing non-personal maintenance and repair services for Military Family Housing (MFH).

The goal of this contract is to ensure clean, safe, and livable conditions for military families, in accordance with the established standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This sources sought notice is part of the planning process and does not constitute a request for proposals.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform maintenance and repair services.

Maintenance services include:
1. Change of Occupancy Maintenance (COM);
2. Service Calls;
3. Preventive Maintenance;
4. Environmental Protection.

Specific tasks include performing COM maintenance and inspections on Family Housing quarters to ensure quality housing that meets Army Regulations. This encompasses plumbing, electrical systems, kitchen appliances, storm drains, painting, and general repairs as specified in the PWS. The contractor must also provide qualified/licensed Electricians and Plumbers to perform building maintenance tasks.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Fort Leslie J. McNair in Washington D.C., which includes five duplex quarters and 17 single housing quarters totaling 27 units; and Fort Myer in Arlington, Virginia, which includes 19 NCO Quarters (18 duplex and 1 single unit), nine Officer’s Quarters, and 32 General Flag Officer Quarters totaling 60 housing units.
