Microsystems Technology Office (MTO) Pitch Day Special Notice   2

Background
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Microsystems Technology Office (MTO) is hosting an invitation-only, in-person Pitch Day on July 25, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. This event aims to engage prospective proposers and catalyze future efforts in unconventional computing, biologically inspired microsystems, and commercially catalyzed defense development. The goal is to fund proposals for short-term efforts that could evolve into groundbreaking DARPA programs while encouraging participation from new and non-traditional proposers, including small businesses and educational institutions.

Work Details
Proposers are required to submit Abstracts for evaluation by DARPA in the April/May 2025 timeframe. Selected proposers will be invited to prepare a Pitch Day Presentation (PDP) package and present their proposals orally at the MTO Pitch Day. The event will focus on specific thrust areas under the MTO Office-wide Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), HR001124S0028. The MTO Pitch Day will be held at the UNCLASSIFIED level, requiring attendees to present U.S. Government-issued photo identification upon entry. Participation is voluntary and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract activities related to this Pitch Day will occur primarily around the event date of July 25, 2025, with Abstract submissions evaluated in April/May 2025.
