This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is N00174-18-R-0001 and this is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This requirement is 100% set aside Small Business. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract, the award will be made based on the lowest price. CLIN0001 1 ea: Micro-Electro-Discharge Machine System that enables the drilling of precision holes in conductive materials: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - System equipped with a high-precision motorized drilling head providing centering accuracy of 0.005 mm or better - Microscope unit with up to 100x magnification and LED illuminator - Workpiece holder assembly with XY stage and differential micrometer actuators - Electronic control unit and AC adapter for setting and controlling the drilling parameters: depth, position, discharge energy, peak power, and drilling polarity - Drilling diameter: from 0.05 mm to 0.5 mm - Drilling accuracy: 0.005 mm or better - Drilling tool package: tool wires, wire holders, and wire mounting kit Suggested Source: Hylozoic Products All items shall be delivered FOB Destination to Indian Head, MD 20640-5070.
