Medium Landing Ship (LSM) Detail Design and Construction (DD&C) Request for Information (RFI)   4

Background
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the Detail Design and Construction (DD&C) of the Medium Landing Ship (LSM). The RFI is seeking to understand industrial sources interested in this project. Eligible sources must be a U.S. shipyard capable of building the LSM and/or a U.S. design agent/engineering firm.

Work Details
The RFI requires interested parties to review the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) and submit areas and language that need clarification. Also, they need to submit Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) items that are missing, areas of the SOW that increase cost or schedule, and recommendations for additional language to be included in the SOW. Additionally, interested parties are required to review the Draft Circular of Requirements (CoR) and submit requirements that need further explanation or clarification. They are also asked to provide responses to specific questions related to their capabilities, experience, resources, and production capacity.
