Contract HHSM-500-2007-00024I was initially awarded to Quality Software Services, Inc. (QSSI) as a competitive Cost-Reimbursement type Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract under the Enterprise Systems Development (ESD) program. CMS is using the exception to fair opportunity described at FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) to award a logical follow-on task order to obtain computer services to continue support of the Medicare Beneficiary Database Suite of Systems (MBDSS), including performance and stress testing, systems integration testing, integration testing, functional testing, user acceptance testing, Security Test and Evaluation Services, and special projects as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The approval to issue this logical follow-on task order is included in a separate posting.
