Medical Support Services (MSS) Ordering Period Extension

Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Enterprise Medical Services Contracting Division (EMS-CD) is responsible for providing medical support services to the Military Health System (MHS).

The goal of this contract modification is to extend the existing Medical Support Services (MSS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to ensure continued non-personal medical support services at Department of Defense (DoD) Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) across the United States and territories.

Work Details
The Military Health System requires continued non-personal medical support services to supplement medical staff at DoD Military Treatment Facilities.

This includes providing credentialed (privileged and non-privileged) and non-credentialed health care workers in various labor categories such as clerical, certified, specialized, and technical skills.

The existing ordering period on the MSS contracts will be extended to 31 March 2025. The modification is necessary due to source selection delays and aims to prevent further bridge actions while ensuring that approximately 1,700 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) are maintained for purchasing clerical, specialized, and technical services for MTFs.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract extension will be from the current date until 31 March 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Department of Defense Military Treatment Facilities within the 50 United States of America, District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
