Description

The 42d Contracting Squadron located at 50 LeMay Plaza South, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama has a requirement for Architect Engineer Services. This request for SOURCES SOUGHT is being utilized to identify sources that have the capability to provide Architect Engineer Services for the attached Statement of Work (PNQS 25-8705Repair Natural Gas Distribution System (Multiple Locations), Maxwell AFB, AL). This is not a request for SF330s only a request for sources and does not constitute a solicitation. The firm shall be located within a 250-mile radius of Maxwell Air Force Base. The firm shall be actively listed in SAM.gov under the NAICS code 237120. Prime contractor should have registered architects and/or engineers as members of the firm. All interested parties are required to email the following information to Jaeden Alvarez (jaeden.alvarez.2@us.af.mil) and Eldrae Perdue (eldrae.perdue@us.af.mil) by 3:00 p.m. central time Thursday, April 18, 2025 with the subject line: PNQS 25-8705 Repair Natural Gas Distribution System (Multiple Locations), Maxwell AFB, AL. Responses shall include: 1) name and address of your company; 2) SAM's registration, 3) a detailed description of firm's experience in designing projects of the type described in attachment and 4) name of contact person to include phone number and email address. Background
The 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, is seeking sources for Architect Engineer Services related to the repair of the natural gas distribution system. This initiative aims to identify qualified firms capable of executing the tasks outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) for Project Number PNQS 25-8705. The selected firm must be located within a 250-mile radius of Maxwell AFB and registered as a contractor. The contract emphasizes the need for registered architects and/or engineers as part of the firm.

Work Details
The work involves comprehensive services for the repair of the natural gas distribution system at multiple locations on Maxwell AFB. Key tasks include:
1) Cutting and capping existing gas lines at multiple locations;
2) Installing new gas lines at multiple locations;
3) Installing new gas valves at multiple locations.

The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and operations as specified in the attached SOW, specifications, and drawings. The project will be executed in phases based on gas outage schedules, with a total completion timeframe of 120 calendar days.
