Description

The purpose of this announcement is to conduct market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and identify potential sources for the production of the Common Tactical Truck (CTT) Family of Vehicles (FoV). The information requested in this announcement is being sought for informational planning purposes only. It does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the Government in any way. All information will be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. There is no solicitation available at this time.

Background
The U.S. Army is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the production of the Common Tactical Truck (CTT) Family of Vehicles (FoV). The CTT FoV aims to replace existing vehicles in the Army's Heavy Tactical Wheeled Vehicle fleet, enhancing operational capabilities and logistics support. The initiative seeks to align military vehicle development with commercial industry advancements to ensure rapid integration of new technologies and reduce obsolescence.

Work Details
The CTT FoV will consist of six variants designed to perform various mission roles:

1. Line Haul Tractor (replacing M915)
2. Off-Road Tractor (replacing M983/LET and M916)
3. Load Handling System (replacing M1120, M1074, and M1075)
4. Cargo Variant (replacing M977/M985 HEMTT Cargo and M985 Missile Transport)
5. Tanker Variant (replacing M978 HEMTT Tanker)
6. Wrecker Variant (replacing M984 HEMTT Wrecker).

The vehicles are intended to meet or exceed legacy requirements while leveraging advancements in driver safety systems, cybersecurity, autonomy, improved fuel economy, off-road mobility, and predictive logistics. The CTT is designed for worldwide operation across various terrains and climatic conditions, providing critical battlefield maneuverability and sustainment capabilities.

Period of Performance
The timeline for the release of a draft RFP is September 2025, with an Industry Day planned for October 2025 and a final RFP release anticipated in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026.

Place of Performance
The CTT vehicles are intended for deployment worldwide in support of U.S. Army operations.
