Marine Corps Support Facility - Blount Island, Maintenance Dredging, Duval County, Florida   4

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. The project, which is located at Duval County, Florida, consists of maintenance dredging at the Marine Corps Support Facility - Blount Island (MCSF-BI) from Station 0+00 to Station 56+09.1 with a 38-foot required Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) maintenance depth plus two feet of allowable overdepth. The placement location of the dredged material will be Dayson Island Disposal Area (D/A-D). Additional work also includes environmental monitoring, turbidity and disposal monitoring, standby time, and partnering regroup. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 28 May 2024 and bids will be due on or about 01 July 2024. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. A pre-bid conference/site visit will take place and the date will be posted with the solicitation. The expected period of performance associated with this requirement is: 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
