Maintenance and Repairs of Doors, Gates, & Barriers

Background
The Regional Contracting Office is issuing a solicitation for a hybrid fixed price and time and materials contract aimed at providing Maintenance and Repair (M&R) services for Doors, Gates, and Barriers across multiple facilities in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning of these systems in accordance with relevant regulations and standards, thereby supporting the operational readiness of the facilities involved.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for scheduled maintenance and on-demand repair services on doors, gates, and barriers. This includes:
1. Scheduled Maintenance: Annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance and inspections of various types of doors and gates, ensuring compliance with applicable German and U.S. regulations.
2. On-Demand Repair Services: Immediate response to repair requests from authorized government representatives, including documentation of repairs in both English and German.
3. Safety Compliance: Development of an Accident Prevention Plan prior to work initiation, adherence to safety regulations, provision of personal protective equipment, and compliance with environmental policies.
4. Documentation: Maintenance results must be documented on work certificates that include detailed information about inspections, repairs performed, materials used, and any deficiencies noted.
5. Training: Conducting training sessions for government personnel to enable them to provide first-responder support for the systems serviced under this contract.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of twelve months with two one-year options available for extension.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations around Wiesbaden, Germany including Amelia Earhart Center, Aukamm, Clay Kaserne Wiesbaden, Egelsbach, Hainerberg, Mainz Kastel Station, Mc Cully Barracks, Rheinblick Golf Course, Schwabenwaeldchen, and Wiesbaden Small Arms.
