Background
The Office of Naval Research (ONR) is located at 875 North Randolph Street, Arlington, VA 22203. The agency's mission involves overseeing the development and implementation of advanced technologies to support the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.

This contract aims to provide expert analysis and assessment of the strategic landscape of the U.S. naval shipbuilding industry over the last 50 years, which is critical for informing future maritime needs.

Work Details
The Office of Strategic Assessment requires a comprehensive study that includes expert analysis and assessment of various dimensions related to U.S. naval shipbuilding, including: construction, engineering, tools, technology, innovation, government and industry workforce, supply chains, requirements, resourcing, policy, management, and oversight.

The study will also incorporate applicable information from analogous commercial and international shipbuilding efforts to identify enduring improvements for U.S. naval shipbuilding.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a three-month base period of performance with an option for an additional one month.
