Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) for the M777A2 Medium Towed Howitzer

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM -TAS) awarded a Firm Fixed price (FFP) modification to contract W15QKN-13-D-0028 to increase the maximum contract value. This requirement is in support of the M777A2 LW 155mm Howitzer Program to BAE Systems, Barrow-in-Furness on a sole source basis. The Justification & Approval (J&A) was approved on 22March2018, in the amount of $455,480,460.67, and addresses duplication costs and unacceptable delays to the Government. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1); Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii)(A)&(B) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
