Lease of Private Cages with Circuit Based Power

Background
The requirement is for the continued lease of already installed private cages with circuit-based power at Equinix Data Centers. This contract is essential for maintaining the DEA Cloud infrastructure in a colocation facility that ensures a high-speed connection to the DEA facility in Sterling, VA. The current system is hosted at Equinix's Ashburn, Virginia facility and is connected to the DEA Sterling Park Technology Center (SPTC) via a leased dark fiber connection. The location of the facility must be within approximately 8 kilometers of the DEA SPTC due to the costs associated with establishing this dark fiber link.

Additionally, there is a need to establish a second co-location facility to support Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities, which must reside in a different power grid from the current systems.

Work Details
The contractor will provide:
1. Redundant 208v power to each cabinet;
2. Locked cabinets for security and accountability of DEA assets;
3. Direct and secure cross-connect services for access to public cloud providers including Microsoft Azure Government, Amazon Web Services GovCloud, Google Cloud, Internet Service Providers, and fiber optic carriers;
4. 24 x 7 access to the facility;
5. Dedicated caged space for twenty (20) cabinets at the Disaster Recovery site;
6. High-speed connectivity via leased dark fiber to the DEA SPTC facility in Sterling, VA;
7. Support for both DEA Cloud services and other DEA systems.

Period of Performance
Base Period: November 1, 2024 – April 30, 2025; Option Period One: May 1, 2025 – October 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
Equinix Data Center located in Ashburn, Virginia.
