Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, impermeable bags, transportation, and other incidentals necessary to inspect, repair, launder, press, dry clean, package, bundle, pick up and deliver bed linens in accordance with industry standards and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include:

1. Pickup and Delivery: The contractor must provide pickup and delivery service including loading, unloading, segregating, transporting, counting/weighing items picked up or delivered. Vehicles must be maintained in safe operating condition.

2. Laundry Processing: The contractor shall receive, account for, process and return all items tendered for cleaning. This includes verifying laundry measurements prior to pickup.

3. Packaging: Linens must be sorted by size and type for accountability. Items such as comforters and sheets should be stacked appropriately.

4. Quality Control: Any linens found poorly cleaned or sorted must be re-cleaned at no additional cost.

5. Handling Unserviceable Items: Unserviceable articles must be returned without laundering; stained items should be marked accordingly.

6. Compliance with Health Regulations: The contractor is responsible for adhering to state or local health regulations regarding certifications and labeling.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025 with three option years available.
