Laboratory Single Screw Extrusion Line   3

This requirement is advertised as SOLE SOURCE. Naval Air Warfare Center - Weapons Division (NAWC-WD) is issuing solicitation number, N6893617Q0136, as a request for quote (RFQ) for the procurement of a single screw extrusion line for formulating filaments for 3D printing. The equipment supports the Energetic Materials Research and Processing Branch.

The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract, on a sole source basis, to C. W. Brabender Instruments, for this procurement.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516, "Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing." The Product Service Code (PSC) for this procurement is 6640. This procurement is not a small business size standard. The anticipated award is fourth quarter of FY17.

REQUIREMENTS:
The requirement(s) will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
