Kiasutha Recreational Area Redevelopment Phase 2 Allegheny National Forest, Kane, Pennsylvania The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, is carrying out a project to renovate multiple buildings at the Kiasutha Recreation Area in the Allegheny National Forest by renovation of three existing buildings, demolition of two buildings, completing utility improvements, and completing associated site work around the buildings. The major features of the Project generally involves the following:a. Renovation of three existing buildings (O-1, U-1, and U-2)o Providing interior construction including wall boards, toilet partitions, electrical fixtures, plumbing, sanitary lines, and domestic water lines.o Utility improvementso Access pathways from adjacent roadways and parking lotsb. Demolition of two existing buildings (O-2 and Shower Building)o Buildings will be demolished in their entirety.o Construction of new prefabricated buildings.o Access pathways from adjacent roadways and parking lotsThe work is to be performed entirely on property of the Allegheny National Forest. Project physical construction is proposed to take place in the period between October 2024 and June 2025. This would allow the Contractor to perform all necessary work. Disposal of construction waste material will be disposed of at a landfill.The work shall be completed within 230 Calendar Days after written Notice to Proceed.
