KC-130J Depot Level Engine Repair Synopsis:

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, is releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP), N00019-21-R-0014, using full and open competitive procedures for the KC-130J Depot Level Engine Repair procurement. The Government anticipates a single award, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with a five-year ordering period. The Government anticipates a March 2022 award with a planned start date of 1 May 2022.

This procurement is for KC-130J Depot Level Engine Repair, which requires the Contractor to perform repairs on the AE 2100D3 in support of the United States Marine Corps (USMC), United States Navy (USN), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The Government anticipates that work will be performed in North America.

This formal Request for Proposal (RFP) follows the Sources Sought posting (N00019-20-RFPREQ-PMA-207-0367) of 18 August 2020, Industry Day posting (N00019-20-RFPREQ-PMA-207-0367) of 26 October 2020, and the Draft RFP release (N00019-21-R-0014) of 2 March 2021.

Deadline for Industry Questions. Interested parties may submit questions no later than 4:30pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 21 May 2021. The Government cannot guarantee questions will be addressed if received after 4:30pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 21 May 2021. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to ensure timely Government receipt. Proposal Deadline. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with all solicitation requirements no later than 2:00pm EDT on 13 July 2021. Proposals received after this deadline will be excluded from consideration.
