Kaibab National Forest Prospectus for Campground and Related Granger-Thye

Background
This prospectus is being issued to solicit applications for a concession campground and day use area special use permit. Permits to provide high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of Government-owned recreation facilities located on the North Kaibab Ranger District (North Zone) and Williams Ranger District (South Zone) of the Kaibab National Forest will be issued. The permits will include the following developed sites: North Zone - DeMotte Campground, Jacob Lake Recreation Area, Jacob Lake Campground, Jacob Lake Group Campground & Picnic Site; South Zone - Cataract Lake Day Use Area, Dogtown Lake Campground and Group, Kaibab Lake Campground and Group Areas, White Horse Lake Campground.

The current permits for this concession expires on 12/31/2024. Over the past three years, this concession has generated the following gross revenues:

Work Details
The work details include detailed descriptions of the area in which the campgrounds are located and their respective facilities, such as developed recreation sites and facilities in the North Kaibab Ranger District (NKRD) and Williams Ranger District (WRD). It also provides information on government-furnished property and supplies, utilities and waste management services for each zone's campgrounds.

Period of Performance
At least one site visit will be scheduled and announced by March 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the contract will be performed are the North Kaibab Ranger District (North Zone) and Williams Ranger District (South Zone) of the Kaibab National Forest.
