The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) is issuing the following notice of intent to make sole-source award/combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart Part 12.6, FAR Subpart 13.5, and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 entitled, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements", as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. It is the Government's intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Engility Corporation.
In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a sole- source contract to provide RDECOM SED JRE Help Desk support to be used by the Joint Range Extension (JRE) system currently being used by the Lower Tier Project office (LTPO) PATRIOT Independent Verification and Validation (IV&v) team. The Period of Performance for this contract will be one year from date of award.

The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, labor, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary to provide the hardware maintenance and support. This requirement is in support of RDECOM , Redstone Arsenal.
The following provisions apply to this acquisition:

52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items.
252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports.
Additional FAR and DFARS terms and conditions determined by the contracting officer to be necessary for this acquisition and consistent with customary commercial practices may also be incorporated into the contract.
In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
