Johnson County Phase II Construction   3

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) wil be for one (1) Firm-Fixed- Price (FFP) Contract. Phase II (East and West Paintsville) design is being performed in-house. An East Paintsville levee consists of approximately 100 feet of V-shaped earthen levee constructed across a drainage channel to control runoff. The levee is approximately 25-30 feet high and has a one gate well control structure with a sluice gate a storm pipe with flap gate. A West Paintsville floodwall consists of approximately 1,400 linear feet of concrete T-wall/I-wall with standard height of 10 feet with some regrading and drainage pipe penetrations.

Amendment 0002 summary of changes

Work identified in the East and West RU100 series drawings have been moved to the East and West CU100 series. Related details have been added to General CU502, a note is added to West CS102, a proposed grade line is revised on West CG105, a section of existing grades have been revised on West CG104. SB441, SG400, SG401, SG402, and SG403 details and have been updated for consistency.

The Bid Schedule has been updated to remove 3 references to Spec 33 01 98. This spec is not in the contract.
