JLAB Academic and Leadership Bowl (Sources of Sought)   3

Background
This service contract is to provide for the planning, coordination, and execution of the JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl (JLAB) for the United States Army Cadet Command (USACC) which supports JROTC units around the country and overseas. The primary goals of JLAB are to improve Cadet retention, strengthen Army JROTC unit leadership skills, core HS curriculum knowledge, and improve all STEM capabilities and college/career success, expand stakeholder perception of Army JROTC as a viable academic and life-skills program.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary for the planning, coordinating, and conducting of the Army JLABs, consisting of a Leadership Bowl, Academic Bowl and Essay contest as defined in this PWS. The LB targets incoming JROTC Cadets in leadership positions – primarily rising junior or rising senior cadets. Qualifying Cadets compete as a team in a three level web-based competition. The services may be performed from any location in the United States; however, the national championships shall be held in Washington, D.C. in June.
