JBLM Lewis, Washington- Burger King Image Upgrade

Background
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) is issuing this solicitation for the Burger King Image Upgrade project located at JBLM Lewis, Washington. The goal of the contract is to update the Burger King facility's exterior and interior to meet current standards, enhancing the dining experience for patrons. The estimated cost of the project ranges from $1,000,000.00 to $2,500,000.00, with a construction period of 120 calendar days.

Work Details
The contractor will perform various construction tasks including:

- Removing the existing sloped roof and replacing it with parapet walls;
- Providing new interior finishes and graphics throughout the dining room;
- Replacing all lay-in ceilings with vinyl clad lay-in ceilings in food preparation areas;
- Upgrading existing lighting to new LED fixtures;
- Remodeling existing toilet rooms with new walls, fixtures, and finishes according to Burger King's design guidelines;
- Widening the existing single lane drive-thru to create a dual lane drive-thru;
- Installing new drive-thru equipment and signage.

Period of Performance
The construction period for this contract will be 120 calendar days from the date of award.
