Background
The Jacob Lake Work Center Quarters Renovations project is located in the Kaibab National Forest, Arizona. The project involves the construction and renovation of three quarters buildings for the Jacob Lake Work Center on the North Kaibab Ranger District. The primary items to be addressed in the renovation include new roofing, new windows, and options to replace the HVAC systems along with new doors. The buildings were built in 1986 and 1987, and the project specifications include pictures of the existing buildings and work items for construction/renovations.

Work Details
The tasks for the construction/renovation include selective demolition, new metal roofing, new windows, optional new HVAC systems, optional new doors, and mobilization. The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, testing, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform these activities. Additionally, the contractor must comply with various federal regulatory agencies and local/state laws and regulations. Inspections will be performed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or designated inspector.

Period of Performance
The construction/renovations shall be completed within 365 days of the notice to proceed. The contract time permits work on weekends.

The construction projects will be performed at the Jacob Lake Work Center quarters buildings located on the east side of the Flagstaff Ranger Station in Flagstaff, Arizona.
