Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Network Contracting Office 16, has issued a solicitation for Pipette Calibration and Maintenance Services. The services are required for multiple locations including the main facility and outpatient clinics.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide on-site pipette calibration, acceptability verification, and repair services at five different locations within the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System. The services include visual inspection, gravimetric test, proof of pipette passing evidenced with sticker, calibration, cleaning and polishing of components, gravimetric retest, and 6-month calibration guarantee. The contractor is also responsible for communicating with the Program Manager and/or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to schedule biannual pipette calibration services. Additionally, mail-in services shall be made available to service pipettes between biannual visits as needed from each location.

The solicitation also includes specific requirements for testing single and multi-channel pipettes for accuracy of dispensing volume at different settings.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the services will be performed include Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, MS; Eglin Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Eglin AFB, FL; Mobile Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Mobile, AL; Panama City Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Panama City Beach, FL; and Joint Ambulatory Care Clinic in Pensacola, FL.
