Background
The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville requires the installation of a remote alarm panel for the DA and Surge Tank, as well as CO alarms in the Plant. The existing DA Supply Steam Relief Valve needs to be changed to Cast Steel.

Work Details
The scope of work includes coordinating all tasks with the COR representative, removing the existing Cast Iron Relief Valve on DA Steam Supply, furnishing and installing a new Cast Steel Relief Valve on DA Steam Supply, providing and installing a remote alarm panel in the Boiler Plant Office, connecting various alarms to the remote panel, furnishing and installing 2 new MSA CO Monitoring system alarms in the Boiler Plant, and connecting them to the existing MSA CP Monitoring system. The contractor is required to possess 5 years’ experience working on Hospital Boiler Plants and ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this one-time contract is from 08-01-2024 to 07-31-2025.
