Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a solicitation for the development of a Boiler Program and Safety Device at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. The objective is to bring the medical center into compliance with VHA Directive 1810 and the VHA Boiler and Associated Plant Safety Device Testing Manual.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide various services including Combustion Analysis/Tuning, Pressure Relief Valve Replacement and Certification, Boiler Program Development, H Stamp Welding, Inspection and Magnetic Particle Testing. The work also involves developing site-specific procedures for boiler plant standard operating procedures, safety device testing procedures, lockout/tagout procedures, and program documentation updates. The contractor must also provide training for operators on lockout/tagout procedures.

Period of Performance
The base period of performance for the contract is from March 25, 2024, to March 24, 2025. Additionally, there is an option for an additional year of performance from March 25, 2025, to March 24, 2026.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, Colorado, 80045.
