Key West Yard Package: Annual haul-outs of a group

Background
The contract is issued by the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS), which is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The mission of FKNMS is to protect and preserve the marine environment in the Florida Keys. The goal of this contract is to conduct annual haul-outs for a group of FKNMS vessels based in Key West, FL, ensuring they are maintained and operational for their intended use.

Work Details
The contractor will perform annual haul-outs for two specified vessels: R3010 and R3008, both Manta Racing 30’ boats. All work must be conducted at the contractor's facility, which must be located within 50 miles of the Dr. Nancy Foster Florida Keys Environmental Complex. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary facilities, labor, materials, tools, and services to complete the work.

Upon delivery of each vessel, the contractor assumes full responsibility for its safety until NOAA personnel remove it after work completion. The contractor must ensure that all machinery used for lifting vessels is functional and operated by trained personnel. All work must comply with current ABYC and USCG requirements applicable to the vessels.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from November 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the contractor's facility located less than 50 miles from Key West, FL.
