J&A - Refuse Collection - USCG SF/YBI   3

The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard (USCG) Director of Operational Logistics (DOL-94), proposes to enter into a sole source, six (6) month contract with Bay Cities Refuse Services, for Refuse collection in USCG Sector San Francisco and REPFAC Quarters located in Yerba Buena Island, San Francisco, CA. The contract period of performance is 10/01/2021 03/31/2022. The contractor will provide all services per the PWS. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000.

This sole source is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) "Only One Responsible Source/a Limited Number of Responsible Sources and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. See the attached J&A for details.
