This is a market survey is for information and comments from industry that will aid in the formation of an acquisition strategy the install SRG and raised floor in control wing basement in Longmont Colorado. The draft requirements and definitions are identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).

At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined.

The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest, capabilities, and rough orders of magnitude (cost estimates) from businesses interested that will be capable of providing the required services per the requirements referenced in the SOW. Respondents to this market survey are encouraged to provide comments regarding the government's approach to this requirement.

This market survey is also being conducted to obtain the information necessary to determine if adequate competition exists.

Each vendor should include the following information along with their submission:

  1. Capability Statement - This document should identify:
    • Relevant previous contracts and awards for installing SRG and raised flooring services.

(Elaborate: dollar amounts and provide detailed information and past performance).

    • Number of years in business.
  1. Clearly state whether you can provide all requirements listed in the draft SOW, including all requirements for the installing SRG and raised flooring services.
  2. Expected programmatic approach (in-house, teaming, subcontracting, etc.) - Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work and providing all requested services within stated parameters. This should include the percentage of work that will be done by any sub-vendors.

All responses to this market survey must be received by 4:00 p.m. Central Time (Oklahoma Time) on April 16, 2025.

Background
This market survey is conducted by the FAA to gather information and comments from industry regarding the installation of SRG and raised flooring in the control wing basement located in Longmont, Colorado. The goal is to aid in the formation of an acquisition strategy for this project. The FAA seeks statements of interest, capabilities, and rough cost estimates from businesses that can provide the required services as outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This survey also aims to determine if adequate competition exists for this requirement.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the following work:

1. Demolition: Demolish existing ramps and stairs.

2. Raised Access Floor System: Provide and install a new raised access floor system (approximately 2,712 SF) with steel panels, pedestals, stringers, and a 1500 lbs. load-bearing capacity; the new system must integrate seamlessly with the existing ConSSCe 1250 system and have a static dissipative floor finish.

3. Grounding and SRG System: Install a grounding system using copper wire (#4 bare solid) and an SRG mat (10' x 52', 24" centers) connected via exothermic welds.

4. ADA Ramps & Stairs: Install two aluminum approach ramps with handrails (2-rail design) and stairs; vinyl will be used for ramp, landing, and stair treads.

5. Partition Installation: Install an 8-foot-high drywall partition with metal studs and gypsum drywall, finished to match surrounding walls.

6. Electrical & Lighting: Raise fluorescent light fixtures to meet new finished floor height; relocate wall-mounted components including power junction boxes and fire alarm systems.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the FAA facility located at 2211 17th Ave., Longmont, CO 80501.
