Description: HRSA Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) will be hosting an Industry Information Day to assist with market research.

INDUSTRY INFORMATION DAY

The Industry Information Day is scheduled for December 15, 2023. This will be a hybrid in-person and Zoom event. The meeting will begin promptly at 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Only the entities that register for the event will be allowed to join.

The purpose of this Industry Information Day is for the Government program officials to provide information regarding the BHW National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB). Also, for the Government to obtain information to better refine its requirements, not to elicit trade secrets.

This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) or a commitment by the United States Federal Government. The U.S. Federal Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Information Day. The information obtained from the Industry Information Day will be utilized for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of the vendor's participation in this event.

To participate, interested vendors shall:

  • Register no later than December 8, 2023 by 4:00 pm EST if you wish to attend in person.
  • Register no later than December 13, 2023 by 3:00 pm EST if you wish to attend virtually.

Please be mindful that the Government will:

  • Not accept sales pitches or giveaways during the industry day.

Background
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) will be hosting an Industry Information Day to assist with market research. The purpose of this Industry Information Day is for the Government program officials to provide information regarding the BHW National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) and to obtain information to better refine its requirements, not to elicit trade secrets.
The NPDB’s mission is to improve health care quality, protect the public, and reduce health care fraud and abuse in the United States.

Work Details
The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services and Development, Modernization and Enhancement services for HRSA’s Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB). The work shall include various tasks such as providing program management services, reporting requirements, security services, transition services, system architecture and security support, and operations including data services support, security & 508 compliance activities, system & performance monitoring, and systems engineering infrastructure.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this SOW shall be one (1) base period of 12 months with four (4) 12-month option periods. The proposed BPA period of performance is detailed below: Base Period 07/01/2024-06/30/2025; Option Period 1 07/01/2025-06/30/2026; Option Period 2 07/01/2026-06/30/2027; Option Period 3 07/01/2027-06/30/2028; Option Period 4 07/01/2028-06/30/2029.

Place of Performance
The work shall be performed on-site or off-site and will be specified at the order level.
