IHS PIMC On-Site Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Services

Background
The Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) requires on-site Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Services at its location in Phoenix, Arizona. The services are non-personal in nature and will be provided independent of Government supervision. The contract includes a base year and four one-year options for renewal.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide on-site Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Services for PIMC physicians to perform biopsy procedures for PIMC patients. The services must adhere to various federal, state, and local regulations and standards, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), Infection Control, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS), The Joint Commission (TJC), Indian Health Service (IHS) standards, American College of Radiology (ACR), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The contractor is also responsible for scheduling patient biopsy procedures, providing English-speaking healthcare workers, and ensuring sensitivity to cross-cultural and language differences.

Period of Performance
The contract performance shall be for a base year and four one-year options for renewal commencing from the date of the award of the contract.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at PIMC, 4212 North 16th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85016.
