Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Roofing contract at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The primary goal of this contract is to maintain and repair roofs in accordance with specified requirements, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The agency aims to enhance the infrastructure's durability and functionality through this initiative.

Work Details
The work covered by this contract includes furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and performing all operations required for roofing projects at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Specific tasks include:
1) Provide and install gypsum decking;
2) Provide and install steel decking;
3) Provide and install rough carpentry;
4) Provide and install finish carpentry;
5) Provide and install roof insulation;
6) Provide and install strip shingles;
7) Provide and install built-up roofing;
8) Provide and install elastomeric roofing (EPDM);
9) Provide and install modified bitumen roofing;
10) Provide and install thermoplastic membrane roofing (TPO);
11) Provide and install polyvinyl chloride (PVC) roofing;
12) Provide and install metal reroofing framing system;
13) Provide and install structural standing seam metal roof;
14) Provide and install sheet metal work;
15) Provide and install caulking and sealant;
16) Provide and install gypsum wall board;
17) Provide and install acoustical ceiling panels;
18) Provide painting services;
19) Removal of asbestos roofing;
20) Installation of PVC piping;
21) Installation of lightning protection systems. All demolition includes hauling and disposal of material off installation. The contractor must inform the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in writing ten days before work begins, submit a safety plan for approval prior to starting work, comply with environmental requirements, ensure proper waste disposal, recycling, salvage of materials, adhere to inspection protocols, provide performance warranties for new roofs, respond promptly to water tightness claims, among other responsibilities.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple option years starting from January 6, 2025, through January 5, 2030.
