IBM zCloud transition services

This notice of award of a non-competitive task order is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items, Subpart 16.5, Indefinite-Delivery Contracts, and Subpart 17.5, Interagency Acquisitions. The authority for this award is FAR 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(B) Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized. The United States Railroad Retirement Board, Bureau of Information Technology manages the Information Technology needs across a broad array of RRB's key day-to-day programs. The RRB has a requirement for IBM Mainframe transition to IBM zCloud along with related maintenance and software modernization services. The RRB has issued Task order number 60RRBH21F0040 to IBM against their GSA Alliant 2 Government wide acquisition contract (GWAC) # 47QTCK18D0014 to provide phased IBM Mainframe transition to IBM zCloud and related maintenance and software modernization services for a period of five (5) years. IBM is the only known authorized vendor that provides IBM zCloud Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 518210.
