I.H.S. Global Sea-Web Online Subscription

Background
The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed requirement to IHS Global, Inc. for the FY23 purchase of I.H.S. Global Sea-Web Online Subscription. The proposed contract action will provide Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) the ability to support Integrated Booking System (IBS) inputs. Currently, IHS Global, Inc. is the only proven source capable of providing the SeaWeb Online Subscription.

Work Details
The Sea-Web website is used to validate vessel data in the Lloyd’s Registry prior to adding the vessel to the IBS database in order to ensure accurate ship information is recorded prior to booking shipments. Data including Ship Name, IMO, Call Sign, Flag, Ship Type, Status, Operator, Gross Ton, etc.
This is essential because it allows for verification of information on vessels that are used during the booking process to order commercial sealift to deploy and sustain the Joint Force.

Period of Performance
The resultant firm-fixed price contract will be for a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods for a total of 5 years (60 months).

The place of contract performance will be at SDDC, 1 Soldier Way, Scott AFB, IL 62225.
