HVAC Services for IHS, Mashpee Service Unit   2

Background
The Indian Health Service (IHS), Mashpee Wampanoag Health Service Unit is seeking an HVAC maintenance contractor to provide preventative maintenance services for their HVAC equipment. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and reliability of heating and air conditioning systems at the facility, adhering to state requirements for Massachusetts.

Work Details
The contractor shall supply all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, management, supervision, and services necessary for the performance of heating and air conditioning units through a service/preventative maintenance agreement. Services include:

- Routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer’s specifications for all major equipment systems installed at the facility;
- Emergency repair services of HVAC equipment and controls;
- Replacement and installation of HVAC components as required;
- Comprehensive system diagnostics to ensure proper operation;
- Detailed documentation and reporting of all services performed.

Specific tasks include inspecting, cleaning, lubricating parts, testing components, checking refrigerant levels, providing on-call support for emergency repairs, notifying representatives of required component replacements, submitting detailed maintenance reports after each service visit, and maintaining compliance with regulations including EPA standards for refrigerant management.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for an eleven-month base period starting from February 1, 2025 or Date of Award until December 31, 2025, with four additional option periods each lasting 12 months.

Place of Performance
The place of performance will be the Mashpee Service Unit located at 483 B Great Neck Rd South, Mashpee, MA 02649.
