Home Oxygen Services (Beckley WV)

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure Home Oxygen Services for the Beckley, WV VA Medical Center. This contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The goal of this contract is to provide essential oxygen services to veterans, ensuring they receive the necessary medical support and equipment for their respiratory needs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing a range of home oxygen services, including but not limited to:

1. Rental of oxygen concentrators with backup systems (5LPM and 10LPM).
2. Provision of ventilator systems and related equipment.
3. Delivery and setup of oxygen cylinders and refills.
4. Monthly assessments of ventilator patients.
5. Emergency setups and relocations due to changes in beneficiary residence.
6. Coordination with VA staff for patient transitions from incumbent contractors.
7. Maintenance and repair of all provided equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
8. Documentation and reporting on patient care and equipment usage as required by the VA.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2030, with a potential six-month option period extending to June 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Beckley VA Medical Center located in Beckley, West Virginia.
