Background
The Holloman High-Speed Test Track (HHSTT) Alternative Atmosphere Study is initiated by the Department of the Air Force, specifically under the Headquarters Air Force Test Center (AFMC) at Edwards Air Force Base, California.

The study aims to investigate alternative methods for reducing aerothermal heating and drag on sled vehicles during testing at the HHSTT located at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.

Work Details
The vendor will be required to request the Statement of Work (SOW) by November 1, 2024.

The request must include a CAGE Code and a DD Form 2345, which will be verified by the government. Qualified vendors will receive the SOW via DoD Safe. After reviewing the SOW, vendors must provide an overview of their technical capabilities, estimated time to complete the study, and estimated price for completion. This information will assist in developing an appropriate acquisition strategy if funding is secured.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.
