Hill AFB Giant Voice System

NOTICE: This is not a solicitation, but rather a Request for Information (RFI) to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research. The government is interested in gathering information about technical capabilities and solutions available in the marketplace to determine whether responsible sources exist and to assist in determining the best acquisition strategy for this requirement.

PROGRAM DETAILS: The current Giant Voice system at Hill AFB, Utah was installed in 1998, upgraded in 2012 and consists of 40 pole mounted speaker stacks/associated amplifiers and control equipment. This system has become increasingly unreliable and difficult to maintain due to the age of the equipment as well as the location/configuration of speaker stacks. This requirement is for a contractor to provide a turn-key solution that will replace entire system with a modern, more easily maintainable base alerting system. INDUSTRY RESPONSE: Provide a response of capability to the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO) as well as any areas of concerns or any potential questions . Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract or agreement. The government is not obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this notice. Responses to this notice will not be returned. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in future solicitation, if one is issued. However, the Government encourages and values any input provided by industry to improve this acquisition.
