HHS NIH - SharePoint Online and Power Development Security and Maintenance - MRA

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to support the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH). This initiative aims to enhance software security, development, and maintenance for both on-premises SharePoint services and the NIH cloud-based SharePoint Online environment. The NCCIH, as part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), plays a crucial role in advancing health services by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of its computer systems. These systems are integral to formalizing and automating NCCIH work practices, requiring ongoing development, security enhancements, and maintenance.

The primary objective outlined in this project is to leverage expertise in technical areas such as Power Development tools within Microsoft 365 (M365), on-premises SharePoint coding, .NET design, database interfaces, Teams Dataverse capabilities, Section 508 compliance standards, and traditional tools like SharePoint Designer. The NCCIH aims to develop robust SharePoint Online sites and workflows that align with its business objectives while ensuring rapid implementation of results. This requires a responsive approach where contract staff can provide timely fixes, documentation, training for NCCIH staff, site corrections, and project-based additions.

The scope of work encompasses several key areas: Microsoft Cloud (M365) Development and Flow Maintenance; Systems Analysis and Design; Cloud Migration; Office Software Automation; Web Development and Support; File Sharing; Database Interchanges; and Customer Relationship Management. These tasks are critical in supporting NCCIH's mission by ensuring that their IT infrastructure remains secure, efficient, adaptable to emerging needs, and fully compliant with federal regulations.
