Hematology Analyzer Rental and Maintenance Services, Kadena AB, Japan

Background
The 18th Contracting Squadron/PKB, intends to award a sole source purchase order for lease and maintenance of the Beckman-Coulter hematology analyzer from Summit Shoji, Inc. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. The acquisition will be single source due to mission requirements and current logistical chains requiring the need for the use of the same hematology testing methodologies with sister services such as the U.S. Naval Hospital-Okinawa (USNHO) Camp Foster using the Beckman-Coulter DxH Analyzer.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, replacement parts, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the service maintenance and repair for the rental hematology analyzer at 18th Medical Group (MDG) Clinic, Laboratory, Bldg. 626, room LK08. The contractor shall provide a Beckman Coulter 690T hematology analyzer and rental equipment service capable of automatic sample vial loading. The contractor will also perform preventative maintenance four times a year and respond within two hours of notification for any instrument errors.

Period of Performance
The contract includes a rental service of hematology analyzer for 12 months along with monthly maintenance services for 12 months. Additionally, there are options for renewal for up to 4 additional 12-month periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan.
