Helicopter Maintenance for Aircraft Operating in Florida and Georgia   3

Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS) program is seeking to establish a contract for helicopter inspection, maintenance, and repair services for their Bell 206 and Hughes/MD369 series aircraft operating throughout Florida and Georgia.

This contract aims to ensure the operational readiness and safety of these aircraft, which are crucial for the USDA's mission to protect U.S. agricultural and natural resources.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installation of specialized mission equipment on Bell 206 and Hughes/MD 369 series aircraft. The scope includes:

- Conducting 100-hour, 300-hour, and annual inspections;
- Performing necessary repairs as identified during maintenance;
- Ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations;
- Providing technically competent personnel;
- Maintaining a suitable maintenance facility;
- Having emergency repair capabilities.

The contractor must also provide all necessary tools and equipment for the work. The contract includes five ordering periods of twelve months each, covering various tasks outlined in the Schedule of Items.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029, divided into five ordering periods of twelve months each.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Florida and Georgia.
