Description

Background
Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB), New Mexico is seeking qualified contractor(s) in anticipation of awarding a commercial, firm fixed price severable service contract with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods for the maintenance and repair services of 42 aircraft hangar doors. This is a non-personal services contract to provide Aircraft Hangar Door Maintenance and Repair Services. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform all operations in connection with the maintenance and repair of all hangar doors as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) on CAFB, IAW applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall be responsible for the actual measurements of hangar doors and components to include tail doors, personnel doors, and all motor information. The objective of this contract is to provide complete and full preventive maintenance and repair services on Aircraft Hangar Doors at CAFB. Basic services shall consist of biannual inspections, preventative maintenance (PM), and reports.
The Contractor shall submit a schedule that tabulates the biannual inspection order and PM tasks for each aircraft hangar door. The Contractor shall perform PM for the basic services, repair service calls, and unscheduled service calls.
Repair Service Calls are considered to be consequential of the RFPs determined by the biannual inspections reports. Unscheduled Repair Service Calls are initiated by the COR as a result of an emergency. O&A is defined as work discovered during the course of performing overhaul, maintenance, and repair efforts that is within the scope of the contract and necessary in order to satisfactorily complete the contract.
