Background
The solicitation is for electrical studies with testing and maintenance at the Roseburg VAMC located in Roseburg, OR. The project is aimed at ensuring 100% compliance with VHA Directive 1028.

Work Details
The contractor is required to conduct an electrical system study, field inspection, testing, and maintenance in strict compliance with current editions of NFPA-70E, NFPA-70B, ANSI-MTS, and IEEE 242-2001 standards. The study team must prepare and complete Short Circuit and Coordination studies, including voltage drop calculations on the entire electrical system.
The contractor should also perform an Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, produce and deliver Arc Flash Labeling compliant with NFPA 70 and 70E standards, and conduct a thermographic survey of electrical equipment. Additionally, the contractor must provide a planned outage schedule for identified deficiencies and perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection, cleaning, testing, and maintenance on various electrical components. The work also includes correcting electrical deficiencies by a team of licensed electricians under the authority of the Contractor.
