GLAC Annual Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Servi

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P1424Q0103. The acquisition is in support of Glacier National Park. The small business size standard is $19.5M.

Work Details
The provider is responsible for conducting a one-time inspection and servicing of fire extinguishers located in Glacier National Park per NPFA 10, all sections. All devices and components shall be inspected, tested, and maintained according to this statement of work.

The tasks include on-site performance of inspections including annual, six-year, and hydrostatic as indicated by quantity on the price worksheet. The personnel performing these tasks must have developed competence through training and experience and have been licensed or certified for performing fire extinguisher inspections.

The provider will provide an updated inventory of all extinguishers and their location within the park, as well as an itemized list of expenses required for fire extinguishers that require service. Any additional services not identified in this statement of work must be approved in advance by both the park representative and the contracting specialist.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from August 5, 2024, to September 30, 2024.

Place of Performance
The services are to be performed at various locations within Glacier National Park including Rising Sun, West Glacier, Logan Pass, Apgar Village, Birdwoman Falls, Fish Creek.
