Grounds Maintenance Services, Birch Hill Dam and Tully Lake Dam, Royalston, MA   2

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a solicitation for Grounds Maintenance Services at Birch Hill Dam and Tully Lake Dam, located in Royalston, Massachusetts.

The mission of the Corps is to manage flood risk and maintain the integrity of these flood risk management projects. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the grounds surrounding these dams are properly maintained to support their operational effectiveness.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, labor, and transportation necessary to perform mowing and grounds maintenance services at the Birch Hill Dam & Tully Lake Dam flood risk management projects.

Specific tasks include:
1) Spring Clean Up at both dams;
2) Weekly mowing of fine lawns (26 times per year);
3) Weekly sweeping of pavement (26 times per year);
4) Fall Clean Up at both dams.

All work must comply with the Performance Work Statement and safety requirements outlined by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from contract award until December 5, 2025, with an option for one additional year from December 6, 2025, to December 4, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Birch Hill Dam located at 68 Birch Hill Dam Road, Royalston, Massachusetts, and Tully Lake Dam located at 2 Athol-Richmond Road, Royalston, Massachusetts.
