GRL Fast-Scanning Mirror

Background
The Geospatial Research Laboratory (GRL), part of the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), conducts investigations into imaging lidar for geospatial applications.

This contract aims to procure a fast-scanning mirror that will be integrated into a high-altitude airborne lidar sensor, which is essential for GRL's research activities, particularly within the ELS3D program. The mirror must operate successfully in extreme environmental conditions as modeled for the atmospheric scenarios it will encounter.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of one fast-scanning mirror with the following specifications:
- Total Weight: < 1 lb
- Reflectance Optimized Wavelength: 1064nm
- Range for Thermal Stability: 0 C to 50 C
- Range for Mechanical Stability: Up to 1/20th of an ATM
- Wavefront Quality: λ/10
- Output Termination: Collimator
- Delivery Time: 16-24 weeks from receipt of order. Additionally, the vendor must provide warranty and support policies for equipment malfunctions and ensure that equipment meets all specifications outlined in Table 1.

Period of Performance
Delivery required within 16-24 weeks upon receipt of order.
