The Federal Bureau of Prisons plans to issue 15B10625Q00000017 for the GREASE REMOVAL SERVICES at the Federal Correctional Complex Butner located in Butner, North Carolina. Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is issuing a solicitation for grease removal services at the Federal Correctional Complex Butner in North Carolina. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with federal regulations regarding waste management. The agency aims to engage a contractor who can provide reliable services in line with their operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to maintain grease traps located at FCC Butner. Services must comply with government and commercial standards. The contractor is responsible for:

1. Pumping out all grease and residues from traps;
2. Removing waste build-up from trap or pit walls;
3. Flushing down with water and pumping out remaining residue;
4. Clearing obstructions in inlet/outlet pipes;
5. Transporting all materials from grease traps to an approved off-base storage facility.

Monthly servicing includes checking the system for proper operation and ensuring compliance with federal regulations such as the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Oil Pollution Act, and Clean Water Act.

Period of Performance
Base Period: May 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026; Option Year 1: May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027; Option Year 2: May 1, 2027 – April 30, 2028; Option Year 3: May 1, 2028 – April 30, 2029; Option Year 4: May 1, 2029 – April 30, 2030.
