Description

The contractor shall be responsible for providing Grease Interceptor Pumping Services for FCI Safford. Services should allow for 4 scheduled pumping services annually, typically done quarterly during the months of March, June, September, and December. These services are to include Full evacuating, Cleaning, and inspecting of:

(3) food service grease interceptors approximately (8,256 gallons)
trash compactor grease interceptor approximately (1,078 gallons)
garage grease interceptor approximately (1,907 gallons)
+/- 400 gallons of clean water for washing down the interceptors.
Total of approximately (12,000 gallons) for each service

The food service and trash compactor interceptors are located inside the secure perimeter of the institution. The garage interceptor is located outside the secure perimeter of the institution. The Contractor will be responsible for pumping all 5 interceptors utilizing no more than 3 pumping vehicles during the course of a single day. The rear entrance work hours for processing contractors will be Monday Friday from 7:30 to 2pm. Each quarterly pump out of the interceptors will require a manifest to be supplied for record keeping purposes.

Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Institution in Safford, Arizona intends to make a single award to provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to provide a quarterly grease interceptor pumping service located at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Safford. The services are to be provided once a quarter during the months of March, June, September, and December over the course of a year.

The food service and trash compactor interceptors are located inside the secure perimeter of the institution, while the garage interceptor is located outside the secure perimeter.
