THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to inspect, measure, and tension eighteen (18) guy wires at the Goshen Relay Tower to the appropriate specification (see technical specifications in the Performance Work Statement). Goshen tower is a 280-foot guyed tower with a 42-inch face width. An inspection report that includes all deficiencies is required.

ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.

Background

Work Details
The scope of work includes inspecting, measuring, and tensioning eighteen (18) guy wires at the Goshen Relay Tower to the appropriate specification. The tower is a 280-foot guyed tower with a 42-inch face width located on Hageman-Shean Road in Goshen, CT. The work shall be completed no later than 120 days from the contract award date, with work scheduled from Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Safety requirements include compliance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1), OSHA regulations, and CDC guidelines for COVID-19 monitoring procedures. The contractor shall also provide an Accident Prevention Plan, Activity Hazard Analysis, Emergency Response plan, Fall Protection plan, Rope Access Work Plan, and other submittals as required.

Period of Performance
The work shall be completed within 120 days from the contract award date.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Goshen Relay Tower located on Hageman-Shean Road in Goshen, CT.
